What a terrific week Lower Moutere kids had. It was Book Week and this year was based around NZ authors. Room 8 had to look at 4 authors and find out lots of interesting things about them. They read lots of different books during the week and read to the juniors during buddy time.Friday arrived and this was dress up as a book character and Room 8 looked amazing! Everyone dressed up and looked great. Mrs P was very proud of everyones efforts. Special mention to Sponge Bob who turned a box into an incredible outfit. Well Done Ryan! Great stuff Room 8 - you are a fantastic bunch of kids!
There was a fun parade to the sounds of Abba(what else??) and then there was a quiz where all children particiapated and were asked lots of questions about books. Wow Lower Moutere kids are really switched on about books.
It was a GREAT week. Well Done Room 8 for making it all the more exciting and special!
Sponge Bob (Ryan) was a favourite character of the day. Cameron and Dorian (well I think it was Dorian under that hair) certainly added colour and character to the day
Our cowgirl Jaydene and Little Bo Peep Savanah added a bit of style to the day
The Grim Reaper (Luke) kept all of the Lord of the Ring lads in line. (Aaron, Brock and Ricki)
No day is complete without our pretty fairies and Koha, Sydney and Natalie surely do a great job
Room 8 was pretty scared until Christopher andTiana revealed that they were the witches!
Pooh Bear (Sharnai), Bumble (Hayden) and a very cute tiger (Aaron) had a lot of fun on the day
Hayley Town Mouse and Meila Country Mouse came to visit for the day - thank goodness Slinky Malinky decided to stay at home!!
Mrs P and Mrs T came as the two princesses of the Senior Syndicate!!! Don't they look very regal????
